Hi Sarah
I think this set up will be much easier to use, thanks for sorting it out.
I hope every one has a lovely Christmas whether here or away. Carol singing starts around CG village tomorrow night, so if any one wants to join in meet at the Chapel gates at about 6.30pm.

Making this site a bit more interactive...

Hello all.

To make this site a bit more interactive and open to all, I have sent an 'invitation' to everyone on the school newsletter mailing list to become a contributor. This means that anyone who signs up can start their own discussions, rather than commenting posts from me.

I hope you will agree this is better for all and is what I initially thought it would be like but because I wasn't sure how to set it up I got it a bit wrong. Theres a surprise.

Thanks

Sarah

Christmas, Costumes and Challenges

Glad to see that some feel this could work - now I suppose I have to keep writing! Up and coming are the PTFA Christmas extravaganza which you can sign up to help or simply encourage all to come along to. There is also the Christmas Show. Outfit crises may be resolved here. Bridget Thomas needs black coat tails for Samuel's outfit - any offers?!

Then there is my idea for the dark post Christmas months. I was thinking of a team challenge for all age groups which combined some team building exercises with general knowledge and team tasks. I thought it would operate on a carousel basis where you accumulated points depending on levels of success. I had hoped some older children in the community (I'm thinking wider parish not just Coads Green) would be willing to help run it. It would be a great skills building opportunity for them! The basic idea is to have a fun get-together but we could raise a bit of money to spend on a specific item for school (Claire may have something good in mind)

Opinions?

Communicating!

Hello all

This is a bit of a trial - I thought it would be good to have a place where we could share ideas and hatch plans. This space should provide us all with the opportunity to air views (of a positive kind please) that could lead to better opportunities for our kids at school and within the community. Sometimes I feel like with mad picking up and dropping off times we never get a chance to talk or share ideas we have. Furthermore not everyone can or wants to come along to the more formal meetings whether PTFA or School led.

This then is my answer. Kids have gone to bed and you have 10 minutes spare. Log on and see what people are talking about!

Hope this works...
